Human beings are worth more than the profits from video sales.
Human beings are worth more than the temporary high from pleasure.

Will we as a society standby and do nothing while people are being destroyed daily in the name of profits and pleasure? Can we ignore the affects on our sons, daughters, friends and family?

We just got this update from Shelley Lubben:

Somebody has to do something about the HUGE amounts of abuse towards women in the adult industry and so I will be testifying as an expert witness against the adult industry at the California State Capitol on May 12.

I am sick of hearing the HUNDREDS of stories from women in porn and the adult industry where they speak of physical abuse on the set, rape on and off set, sexually transmitted diseases, cervical cancer from HPV and Herpes, drugs given to women to help them do violent scenes, forced and manipulated prostitution and MORE!

My family, including my young children, and former entertainer Daphne will be joining me in this fight and we need you to PRAY fervently for us and that our testimony will be heard loud and clear!

My children will be joining us to send a message to our nation to PLEASE PROTECT THEM FROM PORN.

Studies have shown the largest group for viewing pornography online is children and we need to protect them as well!!

Please pray for our safety. Our family is taking a huge stand against the pornography industry. If anyone in the Sacramento area wants to show their support, please come to the State Capitol building and join us! And tell all your friends to come too! Send this out in a bulletin to your friends to help spread the word.

Ask your friends to pray for us and all those trapped in the adult industry!

I am bringing statements from porn stars and adult industry workers who are either in or were in the industry still and we are standing together with Assemblyman Charles Calderon to get the State of California to pass a bill that would do something about the secondary negative effects of the adult industry on adult industry workers and the general public.

We are to pray out of hearts longing to see the glory of God revealed and His name vindicated in a blaspheming world. God’s people cry out for the day when God’s righteousness will cover the earth and His will is done exclusively in the earth as it is in heaven. His righteousness is our soul’s delight. His glory is our crown of rejoicing. We grieve to see His truth being disregarded and His Name slandered in the earth. We plead, “Lord, reveal Your glory, extend Your arm, unsheath Your sword, make known Your righteousness.” We labor incessantly to bring sinners to God as trophies of His grace that all the earth, with the heavenly hosts, might be shown the exceeding riches of our God’s grace and fall in endless praise for the glory of His grace (Ephesians 1:6; 2:7).

This is why we pray. We love our God and we are jealous for His praise. We need no earthly awards to motivate us. We plead with God for men as we plead with men for God, not only with urgent concert for men’s salvation, but also with an agonizing concern for the glorious honor of God. - Robert B. Selph

Refuse to wear the flimsy rags that this world wants to adorn you in. You’re worth more that that! Put on Christ! He is what you’re looking for! Don’t sell yourself out for something that doesn’t satisfy.

The gospel is above ALL spiritual - and no life, no hope, no change results from anything other than us being transformed by the power of God. Only God can change our hearts. Only God can give us life. Once that happens, the Holy Spirit will work in us and through us to affect this world for the glory of God and our good. Working towards that change in our own power is worthless - and deception. Here’s a sobering reminder that a social gospel at the expense of a spiritual gospel is a FALSE gospel.
