But the Devil also has a plan for us as well!

He wants us to do anything and be everything EXCEPT be obedient to God’s word! For by our obedience to God and His word, we are putting on the full armor of God - we are then strong because it is God’s armor, not ours - and the Devil will lose the battle when he comes into contact with a believer - a soldier on this battlefield of life - who is equipped and protected by God.

Why is this important? Because the Devil isn’t playing games with us…

Give it FULLY to God (not 80%, not 90%, not 99% … but 100%!). Ask Him to do for you what you finally have learned is impossible for you to do on your own. He will do it! Take God at His word. Trust and obey. As the old hymn goes, there truly is NO OTHER WAY.

After the fantasy fades, you lay there, your mouth full of sand and more in need of water than you were at the beginning. Only, you’d be lucky if that were the worst thing that could happen to you from buying a fantasy. You’d be real lucky. Some people pay with their lives.
