- share your heart and needs with Him today!

From God's Word...
Romans 8:13-15

For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

God wants to do for us what we can’t do for ourselves.
He will lead us!

From God's Word...
Exodus 33:14

And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

From Spurgeon’s Daily Meditations…

Precious promise! Lord, enable me to appropriate it as all my own.

We must go at certain times from our abode, for here we have no continuing city. It often happens that when we feel most at home in a place, we are suddenly called away from it. Here is the antidote for this ill. The Lord Himself will keep us company. His presence, which includes His favor, His fellowship, His care, and His power, shall be ever with us in every one of our marchings. This means far more than it says; for, in fact, it means all things. If we have God present with us, we have possession of heaven and earth. Go with me, Lord, and then command me where Thou wilt!

But we hope to find a place of rest. The text promises it. We are to have rest of God’s own giving, making, and preserving. His presence will cause us to rest even when we are on the march, yea, even in the midst of battle. Rest! Thrice blessed word. Can it ever be enjoyed by mortals? Yes, there is the promise, and by faith we plead it. Rest comes from the Comforter, from the Prince of Peace, and from the glorious Father who rested on the seventh day from all His works. To be with God is to rest in the most emphatic sense.

Introducing God’s grace to those in the porn world

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

A.W. Tozer once said that, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

Many people (often understandably so) have a wrong view of who God is and what He is like. As a result, they run from ‘that view’ of God to seek love and acceptance from another source to fill that void in their life. Isn’t that what we all want - just to be loved and accepted for who we are?

Nowhere is this more obvious than those into the porn ’scene.’ The creation has been idolized and worshiped at the expense of knowing the Creator who created beauty, sex, love, and relationships. The result is catastrophic - shattered hearts, minds, and lives. Porn leaves everyone (the producers, actors, consumers) empty and unsatisfied because porn is not what we were made for. We were made for greater things.

God has a plan for each of us - no matter who we are, where we are, or what we’ve done! That is an awesome TRUTH that we want to share. The message of God’s love and grace toward His children is life changing! As we humbly reach out in love to share that with people - we find that they are transformed by Truth! We’ve seen and heard the transformations. God is doing these things for His glory - and we are humbled, awed, and overjoyed.

Join hands with us as we reach out to the porn stars to communicate the grace of God.

From God's Word...
John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Upcoming opportunities:

Grace will break the hardest heart. It was the love of God that prompted Him to send His only begotten Son into the world that He might save it. I suppose the thief had gone through his trial unsoftened. Probably the law had hardened his heart. But on the cross no doubt that touching prayer of the Savior, “Father, forgive them!” broke his heart, so that he cried, “Lord, remember me!” He was brought to ask for mercy. I believe there is no man so far gone but the grace of God will melt his heart. - Dwight L. Moody
