We are sons and daughters of the King

We recently read this online from Rebecca St. James…
In all the increasingly busy bustle of Christmas, I just wanted to write you a quick note and encourage you to always remember that in the midst of the crowds– you are God’s beautifully unique, one-of-a-kind ‘you!’ I often think about that — that I am different to anyone else on the planet and that’s awesome. That means God loves us each in a unique way, and loves you just because you’re you. When I was growing up in Australia Dad promoted Christian shows and so my brothers and I would get to run around backstage. We thought we were pretty cool! If security stopped us at any point, we would either show them the backstage pass, or say ‘We’re David Smallbone’s kids’ and they would let us through. I remember feeling so confident and proud to be his daughter. God gave me a picture the other day that I feel led to share with you. He encouraged me that in life that’s where I can find my security, my sense of self-worth. By saying ‘I’m with God… I’m with Him!’. So when I’m feeling discouraged or insecure of unworthy, which I do from time to time, I’m going to remember that and I encourage you to too. You are ‘with HIM’!
With love, my friends!
Rebecca
