Vicky Beeching - Strong Than The Storm Windows Media

When the world all around is shaking
and we’re deafened by crashing waves
We call out to You

You are stronger than the storm
You are reigning over all
Faithful God you’re always in control
You’re the anchor of peace for our souls

Check out this recent blog entry from Jenni (former porn star Veronica Lain and prostitute):

I was in darkness for so many years. I was satan’s slave. I had no soul left. I was dying and in a hole. But you have to understand. God was always there. And he is for all of us. He loves us no matter what. I see so clearly now and feel so much love that I never knew existed. I was in large sea swimming for my life. Sometimes there were storms but I kept on going. There were many sharks but I went on swimming. At times, I gave up and sank deep down into the murky water thinking I would die. Now…I am washed up on the shore.(God pulled me out) I am lounging on the warm sandy beach. I am walking in paradise and never want to go back to that dark sea of depression, guilt, hate, anger, loneliness, despair, death, sadness, pain, and every kind of sin and evil there is. I am in a place now that I thought never existed. Satan is a liar. Don’t believe him. He doesn’t love you. God will save you from the storm. Stop swimming with sharks and take God’s hand like I did. If your house is destroyed, God has a new house for you all ready to go. You can move in any time you like. Anyone can. I did.

From God's Word...

Psalm 107:28-30

Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble,
And He brings them out of their distresses.
He calms the storm,
So that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet;
So He guides them to their desired haven.

We cannot share what we do not have

“We cannot share what we do not have.”

I read that quote from a pastor who is in a country where people are spiritually hungry - but they lack Bibles to give.

God’s word is powerful. It’s alive and active. It changes lives. God promises that His word won’t return void.

While we reflect on God’s indescribable gift this Holiday season, let’s share that awesome truth by sharing God’s word. Long after the attractiveness of the latest toy or item fades, the truth of God’s word lives on. Let’s make an impact for eternity by sharing God’s word with others.

Here are just a few of the organizations that could use our help…
