We’re taking a look at the new Point of Grace CD song by song. Today we’re looking at the song ‘Broken Thing’.

I tried to walk quickly pas the waters edge
Didn’t want to see my own reflection
But I just stepped off the highest ledge
And fell into the sea of imperfectionAnd just like every other time before
I washed up in pieces on the shoreBut You found beauty in this broken thing
Made angels dance with wounded wings
I can’t imagine anything more beautiful
You took the damaged part of me
Restored what little dignity
was left inside this broken thing.
Only God can find a use for broken things. While the world may have no use for them - could it be that brokenness is the beginning of a life of real purpose and blessing?
You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.
