Rebecca St. James is adding additional “behind the song” ministry value to her music in the form of free audio downloads of devotionals inspired by the songs from her latest EMI/Forefront album, If I Had One Chance To Tell You Something.

The sixty second devotionals recorded by St. James are being presented as free programming content resources to radio for airing.

Built around the concept of songs such as Take All Of Me, You Are Loved, God Help Me, Alive, and Lest I Forget, the spots are designed as a free standing inspirational minute geared to fit multiple radio formats. Produced by Chris Coppernoll of the Soul2Soul Radio Network, which also hosts the site, radio wishing to resource the free RSJ audio downloads can do so online at: www.s2sradio.com/rebeccastjames.html

Crystal goblet or Trash Can - 2 Timothy 2:20-21

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

Godinger Dublin Crystal Set of 12 Goblets

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.

The Message - 2 Timothy 2:20-21

Q: What does it take to be a good utensil?
A: To be clean

Q: What does it take to be clean?
A: Repentance.

Repentance is why a lot of mediocre Christians sit in the pews being ‘rubbish bins’ while they could be crystal goblets. Everyone has the potential to be a crystal goblet.

To be useful to God, you must practice wisdom.

Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace—joining those who are in honest and serious prayer before God. Refuse to get involved in inane discussions; they always end up in fights. God’s servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devil’s trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.

The Message - 2 Timothy 2:22-26

Run away, run after, refuse. How do you know when to do what?

Just ask. Pray to the Father. He loves to help.

Take a step to let God use you today.

Brock Gill asks Who is your master?

brock gill puppetmaster who is your master

I went to see Brock Gill’s live performance last night. He had an illusion routine known as THE PUPPET MASTER. Gill describes the routine as this:

if you have seen the latest dvd “hidden agenda” or have been to a live show then you are probably familiar with an illusion routine known as the puppet master. this is the illusion that i have been doing the longest. God gave me the idea in 1997. i began performing it in the summer of 1998. it was redone and perfected in 2000 and has been a signature effect ever since. it is one routine that i am very proud of. it is a picture of the spiritual world in a symbolic way. it represents the way we are slaves to sin and how satan pulls our strings like a puppet.

Here’s some notes I took before the PUPPET MASTER illusion routine.

  • The question I have for you tonight is Who is your master?
  • The Bible says you’re going to have a master. You’re going to serve something.
  • Romans 6 says you’re either a slave to sin or or slave to righteousness.
  • When I was fifteen years old, I gave my life to Jesus. For the first fifteen years of my life, if I had died, I would have gone to hell. It didn’t matter that my dad was a preacher or I know all the right answers, I would have gone to hell.
  • I was a puppet on the devil’s string and I didn’t even realize it.
  • I gave my life to Jesus. Not my Sundays. Not my fifteen minutes a day. I gave my life.
  • I turned my back on sin and followed him from that point on.
  • So the question I have for you tonight is, who is your master?

Truth is eternal

Monday, October 16th, 2006

Truth transcends space and time. It is eternal.

But there will come a time when the lies of the world will be no more.

Go with Truth.

Don’t live for a lie.

From God's Word...

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
