Brock Gill asks Who is your master?
I went to see Brock Gill’s live performance last night. He had an illusion routine known as THE PUPPET MASTER. Gill describes the routine as this:
if you have seen the latest dvd “hidden agenda” or have been to a live show then you are probably familiar with an illusion routine known as the puppet master. this is the illusion that i have been doing the longest. God gave me the idea in 1997. i began performing it in the summer of 1998. it was redone and perfected in 2000 and has been a signature effect ever since. it is one routine that i am very proud of. it is a picture of the spiritual world in a symbolic way. it represents the way we are slaves to sin and how satan pulls our strings like a puppet.
Here’s some notes I took before the PUPPET MASTER illusion routine.
- The question I have for you tonight is Who is your master?
- The Bible says you’re going to have a master. You’re going to serve something.
- Romans 6 says you’re either a slave to sin or or slave to righteousness.
- When I was fifteen years old, I gave my life to Jesus. For the first fifteen years of my life, if I had died, I would have gone to hell. It didn’t matter that my dad was a preacher or I know all the right answers, I would have gone to hell.
- I was a puppet on the devil’s string and I didn’t even realize it.
- I gave my life to Jesus. Not my Sundays. Not my fifteen minutes a day. I gave my life.
- I turned my back on sin and followed him from that point on.
- So the question I have for you tonight is, who is your master?
