It’s so easy to get distracted

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

“I’ve noticed that when I get up and plan my day, it’s not like I ask God’s opinion about it. No, I’m perfectly content to tackle the world all by myself. How bad is that? Are we ever really that busy? No! I can’t figure it out … why are Lifetime television movies so much more appealing than reading the Bible? I get sucked in every time. I mean, Victoria Principal is a talented actress, but come on! How many times can I watch her kids get stolen by her ex-husband?

I find that the distractions come each time I want to ask God to light the fire in my heart again … ” - Kerri Pomarolli

From God's word...

Psalm 51:12
Make me as happy as you did when you saved me; make me want to obey!

“If all people with a disability were brought together they would represent the third largest country in the world. Sadly, they would also be a country that was the poorest, least educated, and the least evangelized.” - Doug Mazza, www.joniandfriends.org

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

I’m really not sure what to title this.

from http://www.zi-ltd.com

“Earthquake in Zipland” is the first computer game designed to help children of separated or divorced parents cope with their new reality. The tremendous need for such a tool led to years of research and development. The result of this creative teamwork is this unique computer game. It addresses a situation no other game has ever dealt with before, Full of fun, entertainment and challenges. The game takes the child on an adventure, while dealing with a number of important issues around divorce and separation .e.g.anger,guilt, split loyalties, the fantasy to reunite the divorced parents and more. “Earthquake in Zipland” not only offers the possibility of dealing with the issues of separation and divorce in an indirect way, but also opens the way to direct dialogue; thus becoming a valuable tool for both therapists and parents

Any comments? Should computerized penguins make divorce FUN?
