brad stine - pass along
Comedian Brad Stine recently released his new book titled Live From Middle America “Rants From A Red-State Comedian.” In stores now, Brad is continuing to get noticed for his hilarious, thought-provoking and profanity-free humor.

The book brings a conservative view that is convinced that America is the greatest country on the planet, except for all the idiocies that have infiltrated it at the callous-free, baby-soft hands of liberals. A hilarious book of outbursts with By-products of “liberal lunacy,” such as bump signs on our highways, airbags for safety, the decline of tobacco use, the contagion of Starbucks, and garden-variety political correctness, as grist for Stine’s comedic mill. With rants like: Why Dangerous Toys are Good for America’s Kids, How Liberals Have Created a Nation of Wusses and I Want to Wear Fur Underwear (just to name a few), Stine addresses life’s absurdities through the eyes of an (unapologetic) Christian conservative hilariously and insightfully.

Since 2003, has been the featured performer on the Promise Keepers tour, and has appeared on Fresh Air, the NBC Nightly News, Hannity and Colmes, and in the New Yorker, Newsweek, New York Times and USA Today. He also recently was featured on an upcoming episode of ABC’s Nightline and has written for Focus on the Family magazine and other Christian publications.

Jadon Lavik - Moving On Faith

Jadon Lavik - ‘Today’ Windows Media Real Media

More things to buy more clothes to wear
The perfect job the perfect wife
A new color for the hair
Take a look around the way we’re livin’
It’s no secret we think that
Just a little more
Just a little bit further then we’re there

But time asks no questions
it moves on in spite of me
it’s not about my style of life
my own prosperity
it’s time we open up our eyes
to find there’s so much more
And all I’m asking
is what you’re living for today

7th Heaven - The Complete First Season

“This is the first and only soundtrack for ‘7th Heaven,’” informs Jonathan Platt, president of Treadstone Records, which will release Music That Inspired the Hit Television Show 7th Heaven on May 2, 2006. The disc will be distributed by Image Entertainment.

“We are deeply honored to be releasing this album not only because ‘7th Heaven’ is the longest-running family drama ever, with a phenomenal 10-year run on The WB,” Platt continues, “but because it has touched so many lives and made such a lasting impression.” For nearly a decade, “7th Heaven” has regularly ranked #1 in its time slot against all competition. “The soundtrack captures a historic moment in television history and translates it into music,” Platt ventures.

Music That Inspired the Hit Television Show 7th Heaven features country-pop powerhouse Wynonna singing the funky, banjo-laced “What the World Needs”; Contemporary Christian crossover sensation Amy Grant, with her rousing version of “This Is My Father’s World”; esteemed country baritone Randy Travis assaying the timeless “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”; singer-songwriter Livingston Taylor on the barn-burner “Step by Step”; honky-tonker Brett James delivering a down-home rendition of “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”; and rocker Steve Plunkett’s twangy “7th Heaven (Main Title Theme).”

Holding down the traditional spectrum of inspirational music is gospel-soul legend Mavis Staples, with the Stax/Volt-reminiscent “Have a Little Faith”; Queen of Gospel Mahalia Jackson, lending a swinging performance of “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho”; country giant George Jones on a toe-tapping, guitar-juiced rendition of “I’ll Fly Away”; Contemporary Christian superstar Sandi Patty contributing a moving interpretation of “How Great Thou Art”; the pioneering gospel quartet The Dixie Hummingbirds, with the ragtime-flavored “Someday”; and premiere Southern gospel outfit Bill & Gloria Gaither and Their Homecoming Friends, with “Get on the Happy Side of Living.”

“I’m very excited and proud to be involved in a project that is so positive and spiritual,” Platt confides, “and everyone at Treadstone is thrilled to have an association with ‘7th Heaven.’ It doesn’t really matter what religion you are, or if you’re religious at all – this is an album about faith, which is something we all need.”
