Read his word and pray. Honestly ask Him about your desires and your desire to know Him and His will for your life. Look through the concordance for those parts of the Bible that address your questions, then study them and pray over them. A prayer in God's will is a prayer that He will always answer. I believe that God desires for us to know Him and His will. So, if you honestly go to Him seeking these things (with what He's graciously given us: prayer, His word), you will get answers. As we draw close to Him, He'll draw close to us. James 4:8

What's cool is that God knows what makes us happy even if we don't. So, as we draw closer to him we'll learn more about ourselves as we let Him take away those things that we were hanging on to. He created us and placed the desires in our heart according to His good plan. Jer 29:11

How do you do this? Delight yourself in the Lord? How do you do this? Get "in line with his will?" I ask in all seriousness. I need to know.
