What class of Christian are you?

a) great
b) good
c) fair
d) poor

Actually, there aren’t ranks of Christians - no matter how we may sometimes act like there are. That’s the wonderful thing about grace - it levels the playing field, so to speak. The ground at the foot of the cross is the most level place on earth. There is absolutely no way we can earn salvation … or earn our keep … or need to move up the ranks. Salvation is in God’s hand, faith is all that is required on our part to accept what He offers. He has the responsibility of staying true to His word, and keeping us safe in His fold. While our flesh doesn’t reform and therefore our propensity for sin never changes, our attitudes and feelings toward it does - thanks to the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer. So, the Christian life is not about how good we are, but whether we are yielding to the Spirit or not. Maybe the Christian life could be better defined as the Spirit filled life. Note: if we are filled with something, is there room for anything else?
