The story behind ‘Jennifer Knapp live’ is pretty amazing with the benefit of a little background. My work with Jennifer started with a buddy of mine, who was her manager at the time, asking if I could join up for Jen in support of a few Lilith Fair dates that were obviously important to make an impact on. After some crash rehearsals, it ended up that the shows went extremely well and were well received by patrons and critics alike. I’ll never forget Jen at the press conference sitting there after Sheryl Crow made some comment on the Reverend Falwell and then a reporter asks Jen if she was taking heat for being at the festival. She simply said that every artist there was asked to play and share their beliefs through their music, so why should she be any different, even if she sang about Christ. It was a simple and poignant statement that hit home with everyone there, myself included.

I wasn’t aware that Jennifer had a new live CD coming out. She’s one of my favorites, so thanks for the info.

I received my copy of “Live” on Jan 23rd.
If you are any kind of a JK fan, buy this CD.
It doesn’t quite bring her back, but the live album is well done and really gives you a taste for Jen in concert.

Ok, I heard a song awhile back on a Christian radio station that never tells you who the artist or the CD is and the song had a verse in it saying “wishing well” and later on someone told me they think it is a Jennifer Knapp song but didn’t know anything else.
Does anyone know if there is a song by Jennifer Knapp with the verse of “wishing well” in it and if so, what CD it would be on and where can you get it? Wishing well may not actually be the name of the song but just a verse repeated in the song, I don’t know? It was a GREAT song and I would like to get it but can’t get the information I need on it. If anyone could help here it would be appreciated. Thanks

Her song “Faithful to Me” has a lyric that has “wishing well” in it.
“All the pennies I’ve wasted in my wishing well
