Ok, so you’re not the kind of person to question God’s Word, but you just somehow feel that certain things don’t apply to you…“I read that, but that’s for them and not me.” I’ve been there too. And then when your eyes are opened to the reality that the promises of God are to you, just as they were to the men and women of the Bible - because God is no less active, powerful, and in control today as back then, you realize you had become desensitized to the truth of God’s Word - deceived by a culture that downplays anything spiritual. So, take another look at those awesome promises of God and trust Him - and then you’ll see that God is not only active and powerful, but also loving and concerned with each of us. After all, we are His kids and He is our Heavenly Father.

Who has the most cellphones and iPods? Kids do. That could backfire as such a brazen move to saturate the culture could finally awaken a sleeping church, or it could be a tidal wave that overcomes and washes away this generation. Let’s pray it’s not the latter.
