Chuck Colson at Union University
Here’s a link to a recent speech Chuck Colson gave at Union University in Jackson, TN where he talks about how the Christian worldview is the only worldview that makes sense in reality. He also challenges students to seek truth, and to live it out - and be ready to defend it in a fallen world (1 Peter 3:15).

What is not compelling about Colson is that his argument that
is that you’ve methodologically predetermined “reality” prior to seeing if this other thing called “Christianity” “corresponds” to it. But this is naive. For the Christian, there shouldn’t be any “reality” apart from one’s faith. One’s faith is reality (for the Christian).

I don’t understand. Please elaborate…

Mr. ICTHUS,
Your statement sounds like an argument with yourself. When your statement is done, what did you say?
I have no trouble understanding Chuck Colson, but don’t understand what you are trying to say.

Sue, Mr. ICTHUS’s comment made perfect sense to me. I don’t think snide remarks are rather helpful here. I can understand both Colson and Mr. ICTHUS, so I think a degree of humility would be desired here instead of jabs. I’ll leave it up to Mr. ICTHUS to explain himself if he so desires, though, because I am not in a position to put words in his mouth!
Peace,
Eric

Eric,
I honesty don’t understand Vaughn’s comments. Any help is appreciated - no matter who it comes from. Feel free to clarify. His/your point is lost if it’s not effectively communicated.

Eric Lee, What is snide about questioning what ICTHUS is trying to say, when it appears to be a twisted, incomprehensible double speak? As for questioning my humbleness, how did you arrive at that from a couple of sentences? Let me tell you that if I was intending a “jab”, it would not be as subtle as you are trying to be. I desire peace for you also and hope that it will be a deep abiding peace from the One, Who brings true peace.
