Yet another hurricane takes aim at the gulf coast…

Wednesday, October 19th, 2005

Be in prayer as another dangerous storm has developed and is on the move.

Hurricane Wilma 10/19/2005

News and links on the storm:

Hurricane Wilma rapidly gained strength overnight and is now a category 5 storm! A recon plane found a pressure of 892 mb around 2:30 this morning, then 884 mb around 5 a.m., ranking Wilma as the most intense hurricane to ever be recorded in the Atlantic basin! It is also the fastest intensification of any hurricane in recorded history. Wilma is packing winds over 175 mph, with higher gusts.

The Accuweather Eye Path currently shows Wilma will make landfall this weekend along southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, close to where Hurricane Charley hit last year.

No matter how big or how small…

When it comes to the activities/cares/problems of each day: Are we letting God get involved - or are we still trying to do things on our own?

I know I’m not the only one that needs to be reminded of this:

Proverbs 3:5-6

God designed His creation to have a dependency upon Him. Even the ordinary decisions of a day need the counsel of God, who instructs His creation to consult Him about even the most minute details, whether in the spiritual or secular realm. God promises to communicate in return.

James 1:5
Philippians 4:6
