‘Reflection of Something’ Tour review
I recently was able to catch a stop on the ‘Reflection of Something’ Tour featuring Inhabited, Starfield, and Todd Agnew in Peoria, IL.
First up was Inhabited. These guys (and gal) know how to rock and they waste no time doing it! The first song they performed was a great tune off of their previous album (Innerview) called “Merry Go Round.”

The lead singer (Sara Acker) then shared with the crowd that they were there to share about a God who loves, forgives, and heals - no matter what the baggage you may have in your life.
“God has met us in those broken times.” - Sara
They went into a rocked up (Texas style!) worship song called ‘La La’, followed by the amazing ‘One More Night’, and concluded with ‘Revolution’ - the title track off of their new album. It’ll only be a matter of time before Inhabited becomes a household name - trust me.
Continuing the revolution (I’m seeing a theme here), Starfield came out and launched into their song of the same name. Lead singer Tim Neufeld addressed the ’seekers’ of the audience by saying, “You’re seeking the only life you were created for.” They then played their beautiful ‘Alive In This Moment’ - drawing us all into worship and flowing right into “I Exalt Thee.”

Starfield will be going back into the studio to work on their sophomore album at the end of the year and hope to have a new release by early next year. Tim mentioned that the new songs they are working on are about the fundamentals - worship and knowing Jesus. They then treated us to one of the new songs called “Unreserved.” Ending their set was the crowd favorite, “Filled With Your Glory.” This band is amazingly talented and has a heart for worship and a gift for writing songs that point the listener to the Creator.
Todd Agnew then came out after a brief intermission and treated the crowd to an intimate set of songs and stories. Todd talked about how in this entertainment saturated culture our human nature is more concerned about whether we live happy lives - instead of whether we live holy lives.
“God gets no glory from us being happy - rather when we’re holy” - Todd
After singing ‘Isaiah 6′ off of his latest CD, Todd spent some time talking about the struggle to be obedient - sharing some darker times of his youth and the dealing with the brokenness of those poor decisions. And like a child, he came back to his Heavenly Father for the healing that he was in need of.
“God is not just our Saviour, He’s our Father.” Todd emphasized that, “There’s no sin that the blood of my Christ can’t handle.”

Among the songs Todd played this evening, we heard ‘This Fragile Breath’, ‘In the Middle of Me’, ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’, ‘Still Here Waiting’, and ‘Come Ye Sinners’.
After singing ‘Something Beautiful’, Todd stated bluntly that “the American concept of beauty is a lie” and posed the question of, “What does God think is beautiful? What Jesus thought was beautiful was what He created. God designed us beautiful, don’t waste your life” chasing after a man-made view of beauty. “Beauty does not equal value. ”
