Who knows what a day may bring…

John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Luke 13:1-5
There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.’

2 Corinthians 4:17-19
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Romans 13:10-12
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Addison Road - Always Loved You

Christianity Today recently named Addison Road as one of the ‘Ten Independent Artist You Should Know’ - and their latest release is an EP called “Always Loved You”. The Dallas-based band just signed a deal with Deep Music Distribution. So, look for the EP in stores. It (along with their previous release ‘Breaking Beautifully’) can also be purchased from their website.

‘Always Loved You’ contains a good mix of songs - with honest lyrics and top notch musicianship. I hope it’s a sign of more good things to come. Addison Road is currently in the studio recording a cover of Wes King’s “Grace” for Life Is Precious: A Wes King Tribute which is due December 26th. Best known for his #1 hit single “The Robe,” the singer/songwriter is currently battling cancer in the form of Lymphoma and undergoing extensive chemotherapy. The tribute CD will feature some of today’s most popular artists performing their favorite Wes King songs, including Phil Keaggy, downhere, Kim Hill, Scott Krippayne and The Kry. All of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will go directly to Wes and his family. (more…)

Quote Of The Day - Chewbacca Bandolier and Hipster PDA

Chewbacca Supreme Edition Costume X-LARGE
‘So that means unless your Palm is integrated into your phone or your MP3 player you’re gonna need a Chewbacca bandolier to keep all your stuff on,’ he says, betraying his nerdiness with a Star Wars reference. ‘Do you really need a sack with three pieces of equipment in it every time you go out? There’s something a little tragic about it.’
- Tralee Pierce, The Globe and Mail - in a recent article about the Hipster PDA

Jaime Jamgochian - Reason to Live

Have you heard of Jaime Jamgochian yet? Here’s what others are saying about this new artist:

‘In today’s highly industrialized worship music landscape, it can seem that there are many who lead worship, but not enough who live worship. Jamie Jamgochian is a worshiper, on and off the stage. Her music is motivated by her desire to lift up Jesus and to help draw others into a discovery of worshiping in spirit and in truth.’
- John Mays, Songwriter/Producer/A&R Veteran Nashville, TN

‘Jaime is one of those lovers of God whose worship is infectious. Her heart is openly displayed through not only her wonderful gifts, but, much more importantly, her life. A true joy to be around, whether just talking or working on a record - I heartily recommend Jaime as a worship leader, all around talent, and real deal.’
- Gary Sadler, Songwriter/Producer
Integrity Records, Nashville, TN

“Jaime ROCKS!”
- Shelley Breen of Point of Grace

Jaime is the worship artist on the Fall Girls of Grace (Point of Grace) conferences and is rapidly becoming the talk of worship leaders and worship music fans across the country. Jaime’s new CD, “Reason to Live” was released October 18th on Centricity Records.
