Study Will Test Stem Cell Therapy on Human Hearts

Why exactly is it that scientists (substitute “activists”) keep insisting on newborn stem cells when adult stem cell research is the only research yielding results ? I have a couple of suggestions:

- Christopher Reeves
- Activists hate being wrong, it invalidates that which they’ve sacrificed so much of their lives to.
- Abortion rights activists are salivating over the validation this offers to their reasoning
- Biased media coverage
- Political momentum for elections
