Quote of the Day - Robert W. Cole - Bible League

Wednesday, July 27th, 2005

I have six copies of God’s Word at home. How many do you have? We’re so blessed to have a variety of translations, paraphrases, and study books all at our disposal. We can turn on the radio and the TV and hear the Bible. We can listen to it on tape in our cars. We have every access to the Word of God. But most believers around the world don’t have this access. Bibles aren’t available in their language, or they can’t afford one. Sometimes, over 100 people share a single Bible. I don’t have to share my Bible, or wait for my copy, or take home a page to study.

Research Proves: ADULT Stem Cells Make A Difference

Tuesday, July 26th, 2005

Study Will Test Stem Cell Therapy on Human Hearts

Why exactly is it that scientists (substitute “activists”) keep insisting on newborn stem cells when adult stem cell research is the only research yielding results ? I have a couple of suggestions:

- Christopher Reeves
- Activists hate being wrong, it invalidates that which they’ve sacrificed so much of their lives to.
- Abortion rights activists are salivating over the validation this offers to their reasoning
- Biased media coverage
- Political momentum for elections
