New Switchfoot album coming soon…

The new Switchfoot album is probably one of the most anticipated albums of the year. The wait is almost over. The new album is entitled Nothing is Sound and will be released on September 13.
It will be available as both a traditional CD and as a DualDisc featuring the entire album in 5.1 Surround Sound plus exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the band on-the road and in the studio.
“Stars”, the first single from the album, will hit radio in the next few days and is currently available on iTunes.
“This record was written in back alleys and hotel rooms far from home … It’s more eclectic, less settled, with more dissonance. We’ve tried to capture the emotional ride that happens on stage and put it into the studio. The band’s previous release, The Beautiful Letdown, was certainly a breakthrough album for the band selling over 2.5 million copies. They toured almost non-stop for that record which resulted in a majority of this new album being written on the road…
