>I have seen those ads for Avalon and Chris Tomlin, but I haven’t seen him play one these days at all.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen him play those either. I put in the latest Passion DVD to see what he was playing there and it looks like a Collings and not an Avalon.

>I’ve been seeing a lot of other Christian artists playing Mcphersons

I have also noticed that the McPhersons are really catching on with more folks lately. A lot of players that normally played Taylors are adding a McPherson to their collection. I saw Caedmon's Call in concert last Saturday and Cliff was playing one. He used to play Martins quite a bit I thought. He was playing another guitar that I couldn't figure out what it was. The pictures from the show are in the photo gallery on our Music Quotient page. If you can figure out what guitar that is, let me know.

I have seen those ads for Avalon and Chris Tomlin, but I haven't seen him play one these days at all. He seems to be playing his Colings and McPherson. He was on tour with Steven Curtis Chapman who also plays McPherson as do 2 of his band members. I've been seeing a lot of other Christian artists playing Mcphersons like, Paul Baloche, Martin Smith & Stu (Delirious!), Cliff Young, Andrew Onsenga & Josh Moore (Caedmons Call), Peter Furler & Philip Joel (Newsboys),Lenny LeBlanc and even Amy Grant. Seems like more every day.
