Study: Kudzu helps curb binge drinking

Lukas was not certain why but speculated that kudzu increases blood alcohol levels and speeds up its effects. More simply put, the subjects needed fewer beers to feel drunk.
Obviously we have differing opinions about the purpose behind curbing binge drinking. Less actual alcohol consumption only lessens the likelihood of alcohol poisoning, it does nothing to combat alcoholism or the negative effects of a lifestyle of habitual drinking (specifically for the purpose of intoxication).
