Beauty Has Grace
Buy BEAUTY HAS GRACE. Tomorrow. I just got through listening to Jaci Velasquez’s new CD ‘Beauty Has Grace’. I’m really impressed. I’m hearing Brit rock with some really deep lyrics. It just made me sit there, hunkered over my Rio, listening, straining to hear every little sonic nuance. Velasquez recorded this in London with Martin Terefe. Does the name sound familiar? He’s worked with a-Ha, Coldplay, Ron Sexsmith, and many more independent artists in the United Kingdom.

I’ve picked it as CD of the month for May 2005. Velasquez has an interesting story. She has been in the ‘business’ for over a decade. She is married. She’s a songwriter and an artist. She admits to shopping at Target. She has even started her own record label. Learn more at http://www.jacivelasquez.com/.

Wes King has cancer…

A Room Full of Stories

Wes King is an extremely talented guitar player ( influencing many guitar players - including Mark Lee of Third Day) and an equally gifted singer/songwriter. When President Bush wanted Michael W. Smith to write a patriotic song after 9/11, MWS called on his good friend Wes King. The result was ‘There She Stands.’ We learned recently that Wes has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Keep him and his family (wife, and three young boys) in your prayers during this trying time.
