New Point of Grace Christmas album in the works…

Point of Grace with their fans

We learned from Point of Grace recently that they are working on a new Christmas album. Their release back in 1999 entitled simply ‘Christmas Story’ is considered one of the best Christmas albums of recent memory. The London Session Orchestra complemented the lush harmonies of Point of Grace and really made the album come alive. We met up with Point of Grace in Nashville over the past week and learned a few more details about the next Christmas album. ‘In the works’ is a version of a fan favorite “All is Well.” Heather Payne sings this song every year at the Christmastime tour with Michael W. Smith and it brings the house down. It’s originally an older MWS song, but Heather was picked (sort of a fluke thing) to sing the vocals on it the first time they did the tour a few years ago…and the rest is history. Michael is going to be brought in to record the piano part. Let’s hope they are able to capture the song as concert goers have come to know and love.
