Hey Parental slackers - let a Microsoft robot watch your kid
From the ways-to-abandon-parental-responsibilities department:
Microsoft is ‘testing’ a robot to watch over children.
Further development plans were scrapped when the Microsoft development team realized most parents already let a soul-less inanimate object entertain their children - the television.

So true. I’ve heard that we retain only 10% of what we hear, but nearly 50% of what we see and hear. Given what passes as “entertainment” on TV these days, that speaks volumes about the influence of television. Television is a big, bad monster walking down our streets devouring kids left and right. What’s it’s only nemesis? Apparently it needs to be plugged into an AC outlet somewhere. I suggest we unplug our sets and see what life was like before we started sacrificing so much at its altar.

As the bumper sticker says “KILL YOUR TV”
so true that I believe it now. I just spent the weekend w/o tv. Did I miss anything you bet I DIDNT.
So much more to live than internet,tv etc.
