Historical Aspects

Logical, Philosophical, and Theological Points

What I find really confusing is how they use the Bible to back them up when they want to and then other times they say it’s a collection of stories that are unreliable. Also, this is a pretty lengthy paper (or group of papers) that took some folks a lot of time to research and compile, yet in the first section - Building the Ark - they fail to mention that the Ark was covered inside and out with pitch. Lost in Worship - new release March 1, 2005.

Susan Ashton has been working on some projects in Country music for the past several years. This is her first Christian record since the mid 90s (although I believe she has worked on other people’s albums since then and done some background vocals here and there). Susan is gifted with an amazing voice and I’ve always loved the way she interprets a song. I have been blessed by her CCM projects through the years and am glad and thankful to see her return to the genre where she got her start.

Christian Music Lighthouse has more info in their news and bio sections as well. Check it out.

BRKNG - Paris Hilton’s voice mail got hacked

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

Just saw this on http://www.plasticbugs.com . . . .
Someone got into Paris Hilton’s voicemail AFTER her cell phone was hacked. These guys just called in using a caller ID spoofer. Then, they sent the file to an anonymous source, THEN that source passed it on to Avi.

Listen to the captured MP3 audio from the site while you can.

New Artist Interview

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

We just uploaded an interview we did with singer/songwriter/producer Margaret Becker. A veteran of the music scene (that alternate universe that can seem so foreign to us on the outside looking in), we were delighted to spend some time with her and let her share her insights - and heart - with us.

Check it out here.

MAGNETAR

There will be a spelling test next Thursday.

I thought this story was interesting…

Brightest Galactic Flash Ever Detected Hits Earth

A huge explosion halfway across the galaxy packed so much power it briefly altered Earth’s upper atmosphere in December, astronomers said Friday. No known eruption beyond our solar system has ever appeared as bright upon arrival.

The commotion was caused by a special variety of neutron star known as a magnetar. These fast-spinning, compact stellar corpses — no larger than a big city — create intense magnetic fields that trigger explosions. The blast was 100 times more powerful than any other similar eruption witnessed, said David Palmer of Los Alamos National Laboratory, one of several researchers around the world who monitored the event with various telescopes.

Check this link for more info on magnetars.
