Mighty is the Power of the Cross

Let the Worshipers Arise

My current favorite song is on the latest Phillips, Craig and Dean album. The lyrics are simply the Gospel…simply the truth. Joined by Christy Nockels of Watermark on the vocals, this song (and album) is definitely worth checking out.

Mighty is the power of the Cross

What can take a dying man
And raise him up to life again
What can heal the wounded soul
What can make us white as snow
What can fill the emptiness
What can mend our brokenness

Mighty
Awesome
Wonderful
Is the Holy Cross
Where the Lamb laid down His life
To lift us from the fall
Mighty is the power of the Cross

What restores our faith in God
What reveals the Father’s love
What can lead the wayword home
What can melt a heart of stone
What can free the guilty ones
What can save and overcome

Mighty
Awesome
Wonderful
Is the Holy Cross
Where the Lamb laid down His life
To lift us from the fall
Mighty is the power of the Cross

It’s a miracle to me
And it’s still a mystery
It’s a miracle to me
The Power of God
for those who believe

  1. Gary Davis Says:

I read some of your discussions with The Preacher about homosexuality. They are just like any other person born into this world as we are born after the sinful nature of Adam. In order to put sin from this mortal body we must repent to God and accept His plan of salvation. What is the plan? To believe that Jesus Christ was born into this world, existence began, without sin and that he was the only begotten Son of God, and he received power when in St John 1:32 and 33 that the Holy Ghost came upon him and he began to minister through that power and miracles and signs followed him and he was taken and crucified and his blood is a sacrifice for sins when we repent and apply the blood to our sins.Jesus said in John 3:3 that we must be born again. Putting off the old person and becoming a new person in righteousness.Thank you, Gary Davis
