If you are among Christ's body, God requires this of you, and not of a copy, to take up your cross and follow Christ. Some seem to expect God to clone themselves, send the perfect clone to Heaven, while they go to Hell. Sanctification is a lifelong process. Christ can redeem you and make you absolutely spotless in a moment. We have to live life in the limitations of the present, walking by faith. God intends you to live the Christian life.
