Why I love music…

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

Sometimes you hear a song at just the right time.

That happened today as I listened to this Twila Paris song
(Yes, that cd is still in my car!)…

True North

Just how often have I let You down
And all the hope around me
Break a gentle heart along with mine
You keep holding out Your arms again
Just the way You found me
And You carry me across another line
Hear me cry
No more pride

I choose grace, I choose mercy
I choose love and all it means
I choose grace, ’cause I need the power
And I need to walk in humility

I Choose Grace - Twila Paris

What a blessing Christian music is! - Another thing to be thankful for. How did that other song lyric go? Is gratitude as simple as perspective?

Quote of the day…

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

“If we go against the way God designed us to live, it is like cutting across the grain of the universe, and we’re asking for trouble. All we have to do to live right is to get with the plan — His plan, that is.”
- Chuck Colson
