Ok, the 2004 Presidential election is over. Time to watch the media scratch their heads and wonder why it turned out the way it did.

Check out this page on MSNBC, and click on the video link embedded into the story called “Analysis of voting patterns” - it’s FREE video highlights from their coverage. On the resulting page that opens, you’ll find plenty more videos to choose from. Note how one is entitled, “What happened?” Looks like the evangelical Christians have confounded their election logic once again.

I found the Chris Matthews clip to be very interesting - that clip is titled ‘Matthews analysis’ and like many in the media, he doesn’t understand what Christians believe. He calls us a “not analytical, but believing” people…as if faith in God means that we can’t study and be analytical about scientific principles….that, by the way, God put into place. We are not the “simple”, flat-earthers that we get labeled as. Matthews doesn’t quite know what to make of the fact that more than 40% of this country believe that “God created the Earth in the 7 days of Genesis, literally!”
