Judicial tyranny continues…

In this story from CNN, we read that a Texas judge ordered a local county to remove a Bible from a monument outside of its civil courts building.

The judge wrote:

“The court concludes that the purpose of the Bible display is to encourage people to read the Bible…”

Real estate broker and attorney Kay Staley sued the county last August and had this to say regarding her case…

“It is just a wonderful day for religious freedom and religious diversity…”

I disagree. For the people that bring these sort of cases to court, religious freedom really means freedom from religion, not religious diversity.

It’s sad when I see people that are so against the things of God that they feel they must do whatever they can to suppress them. Yet it’s even worse when we find that many of these folks are powerful judges making similiar orders from the bench.
