Senate gridlock…
Ever wonder why very little gets accomplished in the Senate? Here’s a good example of why:
They can’t even agree that marriage is between a man and a woman.
Liberals do not want to stand behind this amendment because that would alienate those liberal constituents that are in favor of same-sex marriage. But also, they don’t want to appear ‘too liberal’ so they publicly say they are against it because it’s a power grab by the federal goverment…”Hey, let’s let the states decide!”
Hmmmm….they don’t say that when it come to abortion legislation. But that just proves again that there are no absolutes in politics. There are only moral absolutes and our leaders are trying hard to remove those as well. Then I guess all that will be left is for everybody to do what they feel like doing…that’s what life is all about - isn’t it?
