WorldNetDaily is reporting that the company distributing filmmaker Michael Moore’s Bush-bashing movie “Fahrenheit 9/11″ says it won’t reject an offer of help from Middle East terrorist organization Hezbollah.

As WorldNetDaily reported, terrorists affiliated with the Iran-backed network last week offered to help promote the film in the United Arab Emirates.

more Moore?

The news stories are starting to be more numerous - here’s another…

Democrats Screen ‘Fahrenheit 9/11′ in D.C.

Now usually when conservatives point out the power of the media and how they influence people’s views culturally and politically…liberals and media outlets blow it off as nonsense. Yet…

Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe said he thought the film would play an important role in this election year.

Isn’t that supposed to be his job? Why are they letting Moore and this movie do the talking for them?

Interesting….there’s more….

“This movie raises a lot of the issues that Americans are talking about, that George Bush has been asleep at the switch since he’s been president,” McAuliffe said as he walked the red carpet into the premiere.

Hmmm, ‘asleep at the switch’…is that a fiscal issue or a moral issue?

Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa implored all Americans to see the film: “It’s important for the American people to understand what has gone on before, what led us to this point, and to see it sort of in its unvarnished presentation, which Michael Moore has done.”

No specifics from Harkin either, just vague soundbites.

I thought the 9/11 panel/committee was supposed to give us answers and specifics. Why are elected officials who have access and power resorting to a film for answers? Was Michael Moore given access to material that the 9/11 panel didn’t see? What’s going on here?

The DNC should just scrap John Kerry and nominate Michael Moore, it looks as though they are more enthuastic about what he is saying.

The reviews for the Michael Moore film ‘Fahrenheit 9/11‘ are starting to come in and this one pretty much speaks for itself…

Moores Magic: 9/11 Electrifies - June 23, 2004

Who knows how it will play in Punkin Crick? I think it should be required viewing for every American, but as usual, I fear the people who could learn the most from the issues it raises will avoid it like a fund-raiser for free abortions.

Liberals don’t like to be called elitists but then they go and belittle small-towns and the people that make their home there.

The saddest and most infuriating thing I learned from Fahrenheit 9/11 is not the political hackwork, but the reality of what a lightweight the President is in the context of American history.

He said he learned this from watching the film? After reading this review, it appears he pretty much had his mind already made up about President Bush.

‘Like a prisoner told he is free’ - the real life story behind Spielberg’s film THE TERMINAL

Saturday, June 19th, 2004

I just got through seeing the new TOM HANKS movie THE TERMINAL.

Thought some others would find this interesting.

I originally heard of Merhan Karimi Nasseri on a CBS news interview many, many years ago. Due to some bad circumstances, he was living in Charles de Gaulle airport.

Merhan Karimi Nasseri has waited patiently in Charles de Gaulle airport, sleeping on a red plastic bench, for the past 11 years, hoping for official political refugee status. Now, the 54 year old Iranian native can leave his airport home, if he wants to. Belgium has granted him refugee credentials. ‘‘We are very pleased for him,’’ said Dominique Deladrier, the Belgian consul in Paris. ‘‘If we had known the extent of his dilemma earlier, we could have straightened this out a long time ago.’’

Irish Examiner - World News - July 14, 1999

There were some definite spiritual questions I thought of in my own life.

- Am I ’stuck in a terminal?’ in my own life?
- Am I too afraid to make it ouside?
- Do I fear the unknown life outside of the comfortable area I have now?
- Where am I going?
- Whom do I want to be associated with? (In the movie, Tom Hanks character has to declare his nationality.)

P.S.
Jazz saxophonist Benny Golson is in the film

‘Gilmore Girls’ shows the negative consequences of sex

Gilmore Girls shows the negative consequences of sex — JANE EISNER - Philadelphia Inquirer

A WB hit show recently telegraphed a message about sex rarely hinted at in popular culture these days: REGRET.

I saw the end of the episode. Her mother - a single mom herself - is direct. You’re the other woman. And the daughter is left sobbing on the porch.

You may ask, ‘Aren’t we supposed to be empowered? These are our bodies after all.’

No one ever finds commitment, stability, or love from sex outside of marriage. If they tell you otherwise, they’re not being honest.
