What’s the deal with this? Shouldn’t a candidate be defined by who he is and not what he is advertised or perceived to be? Is this about marketing instead of leadership? Maybe we should vote for President based on who has the slickest campaign commercials.

Kerry also is meeting Thursday with Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, the archbishop of Washington, D.C., and chairman of a task force studying the church’s stance toward politicians who don’t adhere to church teachings. Kerry, a Roman Catholic, has been criticized because his pro-choice views on abortion conflict with the church.
Kerry is still having a tough time convincing Roman Catholics that the kingdom of God takes a back seat to the kingdom of politics.
