The Definition of the Word ‘Evil’

It depends on what the definition of the word ‘evil’ is…

I found this webpage on the ‘Global Perspectives on U.S. Policy’ while I was doing a Google search on ‘arrogant foreign policy‘ as this seems to be a favorite liberal catch phrase these days…but that’s another story for another day.

Here was one of the topics discussed by the participants…

When leading a fight against genocide, terrorism, and gross violations of human rights, should the U.S. identify the adversary as evil?

Wow, it looks like that was a serious question that wasn’t rhetorical!

If we are afraid to say or can’t discern that ‘genocide, terrorism, and gross violations of human rights’ are evil, then we have truly lost our way.

Liberals always say we must be a tolerant society…but should we tolerate evil? Maybe the better question is, can we tolerate evil and survive?
