French Parliament Votes to Ban Signs of Faith
Tuesday, February 10th, 2004French Parliament Votes to Ban Signs of Faith
“France’s National Assembly voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to banish
religious emblems from state schools.”
The government claims it doesn’t single out any specific religion, but
it apparently doesn’t apply to some religions - materialism, atheism,
agnosticism. Apparently only those people who believe in a God (or
gods) need to have their freedom of speech taken away.
How long before this is a precedent for the U.S. Court System?
